(NJ) Urge Mikie Sherill and other New Jersey electeds to do everything they can to:
**Radically improve conditions for detainees at Delaney Hall.
**Pass the KAIM (Knowledge, Accountability, and Rights in Incarceration Markets) Act (A4077/S3630), which would tax private prisons based on the value of their contracts and the number of persons jailed in their facilities. This would discourage the detention centers from trying to hold detainees as long as possible in order to maximize their profits.

(PA) Contact state Rep. Markosek and urge him to advance bill, HB 914 through the Housing and Community Development Committee.
The bill places a cap on rent increases and ties it to the consumer price index for landlords of multiple properties.
-
**Before July 2** Oppose Proposed Mail-In and Absentee Ballot Regulations
-
**Before June 29th** Tell HUD: Protect Access to Emergency Shelter for the Trans Community!
