NJ Voter Information 2024

Primary Election – June 4, 2024 General Election – November 5, 2024
Voter Registration deadline – October 15, 2024 Vote by Mail:
Individuals who applied for Vote By Mail for “all future elections” will receive a main-in ballot. In order to get a mail-in ballot, you must apply for Vote by Mail. Mail-in ballots will be mailed to VBM voters beginning September 21, 2024. Vote by Mail deadlines:
Last day to request VBM ballot – October 29
Last day to apply in person for VBM ballot at your County Clerk’s office – November 4 by 3:00 p.m. Returning your VBM ballot: You have until 8 p.m. on Election Day to return your ballot to the Board of Elections in person or deposit it in one of your county’s secure authorized ballot drop boxes. You can also mail your ballot, it must be postmarked on or before 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.

Mail-in or Absentee ballots must arrive at your county election office – November 5
