Lambertville, NJ and New Hope, Pennsylvania – Indivisible Lambertville/New Hope (ILNH) today announced endorsements of four candidates running in the 2022 New Jersey and Pennsylvania elections being held in November. The candidates endorsed by the organization are:
- Pennsylvania Governor: Josh Shapiro
- U.S. Senator for Pennsylvania: John Fetterman
- U.S House of Representatives for Pennsylvania CD01: Ashley Ehasz
- U.S. House of Representatives for New Jersey CD07: Tom Malinowski
In New Jersey, ILNH is joined by two other local Indivisible organizations in endorsing Tom Malinowski for Congress for CD07: Indivisible Cranbury and Indivisible Long Valley, all of which have numerous constituents in his district.
The candidates endorsed by ILNH demonstrate the values that align with those of the organization, and a fearlessness to stand up for democracy and fight for the rights of all people. Endorsement follows the near unanimous approval of a list of proposed candidates by the organization’s membership
“In recent history, there are few times when democracy has been as precarious as it is now,” said Cindi Sternfeld, president, Indivisible Lambertville/New Hope. “It’s critical to elect those leaders who will serve all the people and not a select few who lust for power. As an organization, we’re confident that Josh Shapiro, John Fetterman, Ashley Ehasz and Tom Malinowski deserve your votes and we are committed to helping them get elected in November.”
